SA Energy Industry Past Employees Association, previously known as The ETSA Past Employees Association Inc. was formed in 1995 under the sponsorship of ETSA to:

• Promote recreational, sporting and social activities for members
• Assist, foster and promote the interests of members
• Promote and foster the welfare and good fellowship of members

Ordinary Membership is open to:

• Any person who has been employed by ETSA, or any other energy industry organisation in South Australia
• The spouse or partner of a deceased person who was eligible to join the Association Benefits of joining the Association
• Attendance at our annual end-of-year function
• Regular outings, tours and visits for members, spouses, partners and friends
• Access to the workshop at Kurralta Park
• Regular functions including guest speakers, movie mornings and barbecues
• Opportunities to assist with the management of the Association and the development of the Sir Thomas Playford ETSA Museum
• Receive “Adelect” - the Association’s regular newsletter

The Museum

The Association manages the Sir Thomas Playford ETSA Museum at 31 Broughton Avenue, Kurralta Park, on behalf of SA Power Networks. It provides a “home” for the Association and includes a well-equipped workshop that is available to members each Tuesday 9.00am to 3.00pm. A happy team of volunteers meet regularly at Kurralta Park, restoring artifacts for the Museum and generally socialising over lunch or a “cuppa”.

Membership Fees

The current annual membership fee is $30. “Whole of life membership” is also available on request.
